Refund Policy
Last updated: August 15, 2026
What you are buying
Career CoPilot is sold as a Job Search Sprint: a single payment that unlocks a paid tier for a fixed number of days. There is no subscription, nothing renews, and no card is stored — when a Sprint runs out it simply stops, and you decide whether to buy another.
That matters for refunds: there is no recurring charge to cancel, and nothing can be billed to you by surprise. The only thing this policy has to deal with is a payment you have already made and want back.
The 14-day window
You can ask for a refund within 14 days of paying, for any reason. You do not have to justify the request.
Because a Sprint starts the moment it is paid for, you get immediate access and we bill you only for what you actually had. If you ask within the 14 days, we refund the price of the Sprint less a pro-rata amount for the days it was active, calculated on the Sprint's full length. On a €89 90-day Sprint refunded on day 7, that means we keep about €7 and return about €82.
If you have not used the paid features at all — no prepared applications, no deep Fit X-rays, no voice interview minutes — we refund the full amount within those 14 days rather than pro-rating it.
If your consumer law says more
If you are a consumer resident in the EU or the EEA, you have a statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days for digital services. By starting a Sprint you ask us to begin performance immediately, and you acknowledge that once the service has been fully performed the right of withdrawal is exhausted.
Nothing in this policy takes away a mandatory right you have under the consumer law of your country of residence. Where that law gives you more than this policy does, that law wins.
When we refund in full, whenever you ask
If we charged you twice for the same thing, or charged you after a failed payment that we then also completed, we return the duplicate in full — no window, no pro-rating.
If the service was materially broken for a meaningful part of your Sprint — for example matching or application preparation was unavailable — tell us and we will either extend the Sprint by the lost time or refund it, whichever you prefer.
If a Sprint was bought on an account that was not yours, contact us immediately and we will refund it and secure the account.
What is not refundable
A Sprint that has already run to the end of its term. Once you have had the full window, the service has been delivered.
A request made more than 14 days after payment, unless one of the situations above applies.
The outcome of your job search. Career CoPilot prepares and organises applications; it does not promise interviews or offers, and not getting one is not a service fault.
Accounts refunded after a policy violation — for example scraping, sharing an account, or abusing the application features — where the abuse is the reason access ended.
Extensions
An extension is a separate one-time payment, and this policy applies to it exactly as it does to a Sprint: 14 days, pro-rated against the extension's own length.
How to ask, and how long it takes
Email hello@career-copilot.ai from the address on your account. Tell us which purchase you mean — the date and the amount are enough; you do not need an order number, though including it is faster.
We answer within five working days and decide within fourteen. If we agree, we issue the refund to the card you paid with, through our payment provider — we cannot send it anywhere else.
Once issued, the money lands according to your bank's timing, usually five to ten working days. That leg is outside our control.
Refunded access ends when the refund is issued: a refunded Sprint no longer grants a paid tier.
Chargebacks
Please write to us before disputing a charge with your bank. A chargeback costs us a fee and freezes the account while it is investigated, and in almost every case a direct request is faster for you.
